0% cotton. 0% wool. Nothing in here soaks up sweat or itches — that's the whole point.
Cushion
Zoned, not uniform. Dense under the heel and the ball of your foot, where the concrete hits. Thin across the instep and the top of the foot.
In a boot
Built to add cushion under your foot, not bulk over it — so the padding sits where you stand on it, not where your laces close.
Care
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. In with the work clothes.

That's what they were built for. The cushioning is zoned — dense pads under the heel and the ball of the foot, exactly where concrete, gravel and steel decking hit hardest, and thin everywhere else so it never packs out your boot.
Will they stay up inside my work boots all day?
Yes. A wide ribbed cuff holds without digging a red ring into your calf, a deep heel pocket and a back pull-tab lock your heel in, and the arch-lock band stops the sock sliding down inside the boot. It's the point our customers mention most.
My feet sweat a lot in steel toes. Will these help?
They will. There is no cotton and no wool in them — those are the fibres that soak up sweat and hold it against your skin. Nylon and polyester barely absorb anything, they move moisture out instead, and mesh panels over the top of the foot vent it.
Are they stable on ladders and uneven ground?
The arch-lock band and the deep heel pocket keep your foot from sliding around inside the boot, which is what makes you feel unsteady on a rung or a slope. To be straight with you: it's a sock, not an ankle brace — the support comes from your boot, the sock stops your foot moving inside it.
How do I wash them after a filthy shift?
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, straight in with the work clothes. No hand-washing, no hang-drying, no special soap. The heel and toe are double-knit nylon, which is what keeps them holding up wash after wash.
★★★★★ What tradesmen say
★★★★★
“10-hour shifts on concrete every day. My feet used to be killing me by the end. The cushioning and arch support make a huge difference — my old socks went straight in the trash after the first wear.”

“15 years on construction sites and these are the first socks that survive a full shift. The heel cup handles concrete floors like a champ. My feet used to be done by noon — not anymore.”
Brandon K. · Construction Worker · ✓ Verified

“Sweaty feet all day under the hood. The mesh ventilation keeps my feet from cooking inside my steel toes — way better at the end of the day. Bought a pack for the whole crew.”

“Rolled my ankle bad on a job site last year. The 360° brace keeps everything locked in on uneven ground. Wish I’d found these sooner — solid sock, built tough.”

Built to survive a year of shifts — or we replace them free
Engineered for concrete
Everything a work sock should have done years ago.
One sock, built around the four things that actually wreck your feet on a twelve-hour shift.
Dense cushion right where the slab hits
Reinforced heel and toe that won't blow out
Vented mesh so your feet come out dry
Arch-lock band that cuts foot fatigue
The real problem
It was never your boots.
Your boots are built to protect your feet — not cushion them. Stiff is the whole point. But concrete gives nothing back, and every step has to go somewhere: up your heels, your knees, your back.
You've been running 12-hour shifts with no shocks on the truck.
The only thing that can soften that hit is about an inch of sock. So we built that inch right.
How it works
We put the cushion where the concrete hits hardest.
We didn't invent cushioning. We built the first one mapped to the floor you stand on all day: dense where the heel and ball strike, thin everywhere else so it never packs out your boot.
01Zoned cushion
Dense pads under the heel and ball, mapped to where the concrete pounds. Thin everywhere else, so it cushions without filling your boot.
02Reinforced heel + toe
Double-knit nylon at the two spots socks blow out first. We reinforced exactly where holes start — then guaranteed it.
03Vented + dry
Mesh panels wick sweat out, dry from the first hour to the twelfth. A non-wool blend, so no itch and no July swamp.
The fit
They stay up. They don't choke your calf.
Most work socks make you choose: sag into your boot by noon, or a tight band that digs a red ring into your calf. We built the cuff so you never pick.
Wide ribbed cuff
Holds with a wide band, not one tight ring. Stays up all shift without strangling your calf.
Heel pocket + pull tab
A deep heel pocket and back tab lock your heel, so the sock can't crawl down inside your boot.
Arch-lock band
A snug band hugs your arch and locks your foot so it can't slide — less worn out by the end of a long shift.
Hour by hour
Built to go the full shift.
Hour 1Locked in. No sliding, no bunching, no red ring on your calf.
Hour 6Still cushioned under heel and ball. Mesh keeps pulling sweat off your skin.
Hour 12No ache following you home. No swamp. No holes starting at the heel.
The honest comparison
Not all work socks are built the same.

Why we built it
I'm not a sock guy. I'm a tradesman who got tired of his feet hurting.
I'm not going to tell you I dreamed up a sock company. I spent years on concrete — warehouses, sites, twelve-hour days. You don't feel it at twenty. By your forties your feet are done by lunch, and you're burning through a pack of socks a month.
The socks I grew up buying went thin. Holes in a month. Nobody made one built for a guy standing on a slab all day. So I built it — reinforced where they always blow first, dry, and it stays put. I wore it on the job for a year before I'd put my name on it.
If they ever quit on you, that's on me. Not you. That's what the guarantee's for.

Straight answers
Before you order.
What size do I order?
They run a touch generous and the cuff stretches wide, so order your normal shoe size. Between sizes or a high instep? Size up. If the fit's off, send them back — that's on us.
Is it wool? I can't do the itch.
No wool, not a thread. No merino itch, no rash, and they don't cook your feet when it's hot out. It's a performance knit that moves sweat off your skin instead of holding it.
They're not gonna give me swamp feet, right?
That's the whole build. Vented mesh over the top of your foot and a moisture-moving knit pull sweat off your skin. No cotton, because cotton soaks through and stews by lunch.
Will they actually hold up, or blow out like the rest?
Heel and toe are reinforced where socks die first — and we put it in writing with our guarantee. Blow a hole and we replace the pair free.
How do I wash them?
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, throw them in with your work clothes. No hand-washing, no hang-drying, no special soap.
What's shipping cost, and how fast?
Ships within one business day with a tracking number. Free shipping over the cart threshold set at checkout.
Great socks. Only had them for 1 week and it's my favorite socks. Doesn't make my feet sweat and it doesn't stink at the end of a long work day. I am a truck delivery truck driver so a lot of in and out and walking every day so it gets put through it's paces

Very happy with this purchase. I’ve bought other socks from the Internet which have been vastly disappointing. Claiming to be one thing and never measuring up. I find these socks comfortable, well fitting. Give them a try I think you’ll be impressed.

Im at work right now with these socks on my feet. The snug support around my arches feel amazing! No folding under the toes, no quitters around my calf. I've only had them on for a week, so we'll see how they holdup 6 months from now.

I log around 18,000 steps a day on hard concrete floors in a distribution center. My feet used to burn by 2 PM. These socks provide just enough cushion and arch compression to keep me moving without pain. Ordered 5 more pairs!

Working in roofing during August in Florida is brutal. Sweaty feet lead to blisters fast. These GroundGuard socks wick moisture better than any Merino or bamboo socks I've tried. Worth every dollar.

I suffer from severe plantar fasciitis and work 10-hour shifts as a mechanic. The arch support on these socks is noticeable immediately. Helps cushion the impact on steel shop floors.

Love them. Almost like a compression sock that wicks moisture. I wear leather boots all day and before these everyday my socks and feet would be soaked. Not with these.. Buying more.

Usually heavy duty socks feel scratchy, but these are surprisingly plush on the inside. Great under heavy steel-toe boots.
